Spring / Summer 2022
The second collection inspired by his love of France. A 1960’s French holiday pamphlet lovingly preserved by Stephen’s parents, was the starting point of Stephen’s adventure for his collection. Mapping out his route, starting on the Basque coast on the surfer’s paradise of Biarritz, flying north to the elegant pink Musée Christian Dior in Granville, Normandy, then finally heading south to Nice, on the sunny Côte d’Azur.
The collection starts with easy jersey berets, striped like a French marinière, to super-chic boaters in ivory straw and finishing with flower laden party hats for hot summer evenings.
Stephen Jones takes you on his journey across the coastlines of France and translates these into his ‘Bonnes Vacances’ chapeaux!
