For Spring Summer 2018, Stephen Jones reveals the life-cycle of his hats. From his ‘Inspiration’ with its memos, nervous sketches, iPhone screenshots and prototypes, to ‘Creation’ where the new season’s hats are brought to life in the workroom by his Milliners with
blocking and trimming, love sweat and tears.
From there the hats fly to the showroom to be displayed charmingly in the mirrored ‘Salon,’ ready to be carefully chosen, fitted and lovingly wrapped in a hat box ready for the ‘Client’ for Ascot, a garden party, or even a wedding!
